In February Brock had his bday and we loved having some visitors come to see us. Cordell, Katie and Eve Davis spent one week-end with us. We got to see low-tide at the tide pools and Eve and Ashlyn got along great again. Laura and Micheal also dropped by to say hi, and said they would take Claire home with them, but they never really followed through so she's still with us. Brock's mom and dad came for the next week-end which is always a treat. Ashlyn and Claire love their Grandma and Grandpa. And then Ben Schaffer surprised us with a little visit while he was down on business...he's a working professional now...Ben's grown up so fast. He told a story to Ashlyn about Kookie the shark that she requests to be repeated quite often, thanks Ben.
As a result of all the visitors we had multiple birthday celebrations, and my brother Spencer and his children Rachel and Eric all celebrate their Birthdays in February too, so we had some fun family gatherings all throughout the month. I tried my hand at making some balloon hats, but luckily Brock will be earning the family income, because I didn't get a single tip for all the creativity. Great Grandmother Plumb took us out to dinner and spoiled us all as usual, we are glad we live close enough to be spoiled on a regular basis.

i would have tipped you on some of the best hats that i have seen! man, blowing up the balloons is hard enough! i am glad brock had a great day - you have 2 more this month and one next...at least you have a few holidays in the fall to balance things out! you all look great. miss you!
I don't know why, but this post made me start to miss the Solano's with an intensity not before known to man. Come visit! Move back! I just want to hear Brock conduct a church meeting!

The video clips from the last post were great. Claire has some mad cereal-retrieval skills. I’m in the process of creating a blog so David and I can become part of the secret society of bloggers. I’ll let you know when I have something posted.
