Claire thoroughly enjoyed having her own cake and ice cream for her bday. She is one and quickly learning to stick up for herself and definately is becoming a match for her sister. Ashlyn turned three the day after, so needless to say we had to eat a lot of cake in April. We had a curious George swim party to celebrate and she got the movie as one of her gifts. Her favorite lines from the movie are "You go girl!" and "That's close enough!"
2008 has become the year of the three for me for three reasons. Ashlyn turned three, I am turning 30, and I am just over three months along. That's right we will be welcoming a third little Solano into our home in October. We'll find out soon whether we will add another girl to the mix, or a boy. Whoever it is, he/she will need to come with a lot of personality to compete with the older sisters. They are characters.

Congratulations Emily. That is so exciting. October is a fabulous month for children. Not to hot, not to cold and you feel recovered before Christmas. I am sure your third will be able to hold it's own.
Congratulations on the pregnancy! I'm due in December and am having all kinds of fun experiencing the ins and outs of pregnancy for the first time. Kudos to those of you who have gone through it already!
